Masa continues to be successful in 2009 and 2010

During the last recent years Masa has successfully followed its growth strategy. Within 2005 to 2008 Masa doubled its turn over. All strategic targets have been achieved - especially turn over, return on equity and profitability.

In third quarter of 2008 the worldwide financial crisis started, being followed by a serious economical crisis. The whole business world has been affected, also the concrete block plant business with a slow down in business for new plants.

A Dream Comes True

Bena, a member of the Ofset Group, open their fully automatic AAC factory in the United Arab Emirates.

It all started with an idea. Mr. Abdul Rahman Rashid, the Bena General Manager, wanted to supply the local market with building materials with improved structural-physical qualities and better workability. At the same time, his idea was to meet the highest demands on economy, ecology and sustainability.

Because of the outstanding advantages of the building material 'aerated concrete', the basic decision to set up an AAC factory was made quickly.

But Mr. Abdul Rahman Rashid was even more ambitious. He wanted to produce reinforced AAC elements as well - to reduce the construction periods of his customers' projects and also to stand out against the mass-produced article "block" and the competitors on the AAC market.
