Special Machines

The blocks that are treated in the splitting line show fractured surfaces that are optically similar to natural blocks and as aesthetically pleasing. Almost all block sizes and materials (concrete blocks and sand lime bricks) can be split.

The splitting blades are precisely positioned in 4 hard-chrome plated columns, the upper blade adapts to the block shape due to its setting in an oscillating bedding which also ensures that the 'split' is even and accurate. The blades made of special steel are very resistant to wear, thus increasing their service life; an additional benefit is that they are very easy to change.

The robust and stable construction of the splitter ensures a long life span, with the guarantee of a consistant product quality. The hard wearing table plates serve to increase the time span needed to exchange the plates, thus reducing the variable costs.

The block splitting line can be easy integrated into existing plants (thus upgrading the unit) or as a seperate unit. The feeding process is executed by means of a block pusher or 'flight bar' and the splitting position is precisely achieved.
